DESCRIPTION:Celebrate the power of language and sound at Rhythm\, Words\, & Wonder\, an enchanting April Fool’s Variety Show hosted by the Grand Mesa Arts & Events Center. Join us on Wednesday\, April 1st\, for a day and evening dedicated to high-altitude creativity. The event features a stellar lineup of poets and storytellers\, including Rosemerry Wahtola-Trommer\, Craig Childs\, and David Mason\, accompanied by percussionist David Alderdice. \nThe program includes “Invocations” with Wendy Videlock and Art Goodtimes\, a soulful Kirtan Ceremony with The Daughters of Earth\, and “Sonnet Seductions” with David J Rothman. Hosted by CJ Brafford\, the festivities begin with afternoon workshops at Noon\, followed by the main evening performances at 7:00 pm. Whether you are looking to hone your craft in a workshop or be swept away by rhythmic storytelling\, this variety show offers a unique cultural experience in the heart of Cedaredge.
