Mountain Harvest Festival
Paonia’s Mountain Harvest Festival is a community-oriented event, which seeks to benefit the local economy by providing entertainment by local musicians, writers of poetry and prose, dancers, comedians, and various other dramatists; organizing a sales outlet for local growers, artists and crafts-persons; conducting agriculture-based workshops; and supporting charitable causes.

Christmas at the Fort following the Annual Delta Parade of Lights - 7 – 9 PM Historical Interpreters portray Christmas time as it was celebrated in the 1830’s. Authentic trade goods and piles of furs and primitive furnishings fill the rooms. Local Spanish Folk Singer provided entertainment.
