This celebration honors the incredible filmmaking talent across the Western Slope while expressing gratitude to the community that rallied to save the screen and fund a state-of-the-art projector built to last for generations. \nThe festival features a lineup of homegrown cinema\, including local student films\, Hank Braxtan’s American Vampires (fresh off its sold-out premiere at Grand Junction’s Avalon Theatre)\, and a spotlight screening of CINEMORTAL at 4:00 PM! Directed by Tycho Wade and presented by 8 Ball Films\, CINEMORTAL is a delightfully strange horror mystery shot entirely inside The Egyptian Theatre about a late-night party that uncovers something sinister.
