The GORP Act Trailhead Community Social takes place on Friday\, August 21st\, 2026\, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Horse Ranch Park Trailhead off Kebler Pass Road. \nThis community event offers a chance to explore a GORP (Gunnison Outdoor Resources Protection) Act landscape in person\, get your conservation questions answered\, and connect with fellow public lands enthusiasts. At 10:30 AM\, WSCC Public Lands Committee Chairperson Mike Burkley will lead a short\, all-levels hike along the scenic Dark Canyon Trail.
