Led by local metalsmith Ira Houseweart and ceramic artist Ivy Hunter\, this hands-on experience invites participants to create forms inspired by the North Fork Valley—think birds\, bugs\, fruits\, cows\, and antlers. \n\n\nPart 1 (March 7th\, 10 am–2 pm): Meet at The Hearth in Paonia to sculpt your clay figures. \n\n\nPart 2 (March 21st\, Noon–4 pm): Gather at Ira’s FORGE on Roger’s Mesa to transform your clay designs into metal using sand casting. \n\n\nThis all-ages\, beginner-friendly workshop is offered on a gift model: $40/day includes a meal and workshop\, or $25/day for just the workshop. No one is turned away for lack of funds.
