Cranes & Cocoa- Colorado West Land Trust

December 6 @ 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Colorado West Land Trust flier for the "Cranes & Cocoa" event. The flier is split vertically. The left side has event text: "You are invited to Cranes & Cocoa. Join us to view the Sandhill Crane migration while enjoying a warm cup of cocoa. Saturday, December 6 | 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM at the Crane Landing Boat Ramp, a Delta County Park." It provides directions to first stop at Crane Landing, then return for cocoa and evening viewing. The right side features a photograph of three people, bundled in coats and hats, standing on a dirt ridge looking out over a wide, dry landscape with scattered brush. One person is using binoculars mounted on a tripod, and all are looking toward the sky where a flock of small birds (likely cranes) is visible.

Join the Colorado West Land Trust and  Black Canyon Audubon experts for Cranes & Cocoa! Witness the spectacular annual Sandhill Crane migration as they fly in to gather for the night near Delta, Colorado. Start your experience by learning about daytime viewing spots, then head to the Crane Landing Boat Ramp for a warm cup of cocoa. Chat with local conservation experts and watch the cranes in their day time setting. This event is perfect for nature lovers, bird watchers, and families. RSVP is encouraged.
