4th of July Ice Cream Social at Pioneer Town

Celebrate Independence Day with a cherished, old-fashioned community tradition at the Pioneer Town Museum! Head on over to the Stolte Shed immediately following the conclusion of the Town of Cedaredge’s annual 4th of July Parade for an extraordinary afternoon filled with live music, sweet treats, family activities, and classic small-town fun.
Step back in time and celebrate the 4th of July the way American communities have for generations. Guests can cool off from the summer heat with delicious ice cream generously sponsored by Scoops (available by donation), relax on the grounds, and groove to a fantastic live musical performance by Synergy.
Think your favorite family recipe has what it takes to win? Make sure to cast your vote in our popular People’s Choice Pie Contest, where local bakers will compete head-to-head for the coveted title of the town’s favorite homemade pie! Whether you are a lifelong resident or visiting the Western Slope for the holiday weekend, this gathering promises a slice of pure Americana.
