Join BLM, Colorado Canyons Association and Western Slope Conservation Center to hike the Blackridge trail. This is a 4 mile round-trip moderately-difficult trail with some significant elevation change. Well behaved dogs are welcome.
Where: Blackridge Trail
How to get there: Meet at the Hotchkiss City Market parking lot to caravan and carpool out to the trail. If you plan to drive your own vehicle, it’s best if it’s a high-clearance, 4-wheel drive vehicle. If it rains and the roads are impassable, the event will be cancelled.
What to bring: Food, water, sturdy footwear, and appropriate clothing to be out most of the day in a variety of weather conditions.
