Historical Interpreters portray Christmas time as it was celebrated in the 1830’s. Authentic trade goods and piles of furs and primitive furnishings fill the rooms. Local Spanish Folk Singer provided entertainment. The history of the traditional Posada is shared along with the History of Christmas Tree. Local school children perform Christmas carols. Re-in-actors share the history of the American Long Rifle developed for the American Frontier and demonstrated loading and firing. Traditional Mexican cocoa is served.
