The Grand Mesa Nordic Council will be hosting their 2nd Annual Run For Snow at County Line Trailhead on Grand Mesa on Saturday, September 23rd at 10AM. The event will feature 5K and 10K courses. Walkers and runners of all levels and abilities are invited to participate, but only the 10K trail run will be timed and prizes awarded (for the top three men and women). The event will serve as a fundraiser for the Grand Mesa Nordic Council, a community-supported nonprofit organization that grooms all 50+ kilometers of Nordic ski trails on Grand Mesa (per USFS permit). This year’s event is being held on National Public Lands Day, an annual event celebrating popular enjoyment and volunteer conservation of public lands.
