4th of July Western Sky Balloon Festival

Join us for the 2nd annual Western Sky Balloon Festival, in Delta, July 4-7, 2024. This year’s event will feature 20 hot air balloons from all over the country!

Thursday, July 4th

• 10:00am-Independence Day Parade-Main Street
• 8:30pm-Evening Glow(weather permitting)-Sponsored by Tiger Electric -Confluence Park
• 9:45pm-Fireworks show provided by Delta Volunteer Fire Department

Friday, July 5th

• 6:00am  Ascension from Confluence Park (weather permitting)
• 7:00-8:30am-Hot Air Balloon Tethering (weather permitting)-$10 per tether (donations benefit Fire Department)
• 7:00am-9:00am-Community Pancake Breakfast (Grace Church)
• 9:00am-Mud Volleyball at Cottonwood Park
• 4:00pm-Festivities begin at Confluence Park
• 5:00-9:30pm-Beer Garden/Food Trucks
• 6:00pm-Dewayne Hill-Comedian/Magician
• 8:30pm-Evening Glow at Confluence Park (weather permitting)

Saturday, July 6th

• 6:00am  Ascension from Confluence Park (weather permitting)-First Responders and Delta High School JROTC
• 7:00-8:30am-Hot Air Balloon Tethering (weather permitting)$10 per tether (donations benefit Fire Department)
• 7:00am-9:00am-Community Pancake Breakfast (Partners)
• 7:00am-3:00pm-Christmas in July Craft fair
• 7:30am-11:30am-Doubles Disc Golf Tournament
• 9:00am-Cornhole Tournament – Hopewest/Knights of Columbus
• 9:00am-5:00pm-kids and adult games & activities-bump & jumps, water slide, competitions, face painting, balloon artist, coloring contest, tug of war, etc-
