COLORADO WINE made by TWO SOMMELIERS in the WEST ELKS AVA!

 

Founded by two sommeliers, The Storm Cellar is a boutique winery, located on Sunshine Mesa in Hotchkiss at nearly 6,000 feet above sea level. Owners Jayme Henderson and Steve Steese produce dry, aromatic expressions of white, rosé, and sparkling wines, while simultaneously farming a 23-acre vineyard, planted with five different grape varieties. Their award-winning wines have been featured in the Wall Street Journal, Wine Spectator, Decanter, and Food & Wine.

The Storm Cellar actively connects their Colorado winery with the North Fork Valley’s flourishing farm-to-table culinary scene, featuring weekly culinary events, chef pop-ups, cocktail workshops, and farm dinners. For guided wine tastings, visit their outdoor tasting room and garden, May 21 through November 1, Thursday through Sunday, noon until 7:00 p.m.
