Aptly named for residing at the “edge of the cedars” of the Grand Mesa, the town of Cedaredge was officially incorporated on March 25, 1907. Cedaredge is the “Gateway to the Grand Mesa” and is filled with outdoor activities for enthusiast of all interests including fishing, hiking, snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, camping and hunting. Cedaredge is also home to Pioneer Town, a 19th-Century western village complete with board walk, frontier museum and over 20 original or reconstructed buildings, including a jail, schoolhouse, saloon and blacksmith’s shop.

Attractions

Ranching and agriculture have long played a part in Delta County since the first pioneers arrived in the late 1800s. The Pioneer Town Museum in Cedaredge is a reconstructed pioneer town. Many of the buildings were originally part of Cedaredge and are now located on the former Bar I Ranch. You will notice the stacked wooden silos on the site. There is an Adobe Museum, a grand doll and toy collection, school house, the Chapel of the Cross and Stolte Shed.

Main Street in Cedaredge is quaint and inviting. An impressive guitar shop, dining and the arts round out the main street experience. Just off Main The Apple Shed, once an apple packing shed, is now a unique shopping venue featuring galleries, gifts, wine tasting and food.

Cedaredge Golf Club features an 18-hole course with spectacular views, well-groomed greens and great weather. That might not improve your game but will improve your experience! Course fees are quite reasonable and the clubhouse is home to the The Lucky Shot restaurant.
