Adobe Badlands Community Clean-Up Day 2026

Join your neighbors for an energizing, hands-on opportunity to protect one of Delta County’s most unique landscapes at the Adobe Badlands Community Clean-Up Day. Illegal dumping impacts local wildlife and recreation; this annual event is a vital effort to restore and preserve the natural beauty of the badlands for future generations. Whether you are part of an off-road club, a school group, or a solo volunteer, every hand makes a difference in keeping Delta County beautiful.

Volunteers will work alongside community partners like Delta Compost, BLM, and the Delta County Commissioners to remove waste and tires. Last year, volunteers removed 40 cubic yards of waste and 37 tires in just four hours—let’s top that impact in 2026!

Event Details

  • Date: Saturday, May 30, 2026

  • Time: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM

  • Location: Meet at the intersection of Trap Club Road & Fairview Road, Eckert, CO

  • Requirements: Ages 16+. Please bring a hat, sunscreen, sturdy shoes, and a water bottle.

  • Provided: Gloves, trash bags, water, and snacks will be provided for all participants.
