Grand Mesa Snowshoe Trip- City of Delta

Experience the winter beauty of the Grand Mesa with Delta Recreation! Join us on Thursday, March 26, 2026, for a guided snowshoe adventure exploring the groomed Ward Trails. This excursion covers the Ward to Staircase Loop, a 2.5-mile journey through scenic aspen and spruce forests, frozen lakes, and open areas offering spectacular 100-mile views of the San Juan Mountains.The group will depart from Bill Heddles Recreation Center at 10:00 AM and return by 4:00 PM. The trip includes a stop for lunch at Kennymore’s Bar & Grill. Whether you are a seasoned snowshoer or a beginner, our guides will ensure a fantastic day in the snow!
